Birds Recorded on Togiak National Wildlife Refuge:

There are 201 bird species known to occur on Togiak Refuge. In addition, 13 other bird species have been recorded in the Dillingham area, but not on the refuge. These birds are included in the list, noted with a double asterisk (**) after the common name, as birders should be aware of their presence.

Public Bird Counts

Togiak Refuge staff coordinate a wide variety of public bird counts in the Dillingham area, including the Christmas Bird Count, Great Backyard Bird Count, North American Migration Count, and World Bird Count.
